Positivity of ageing, a lovely phenomenon

She combed it straight and made it twice
Her curly grey locks looked so nice
Staring at the mirror she caressed her tresses
“You are no longer young,” reflected the mirror
“As always, a new beginning,” she just sighed
“Skin speaks your age,” teased the mirror
“My passions are persistent,” she retorted
“Must mind your makeovers,” it reminded
“My dreams are younger,” she smiled back
“Trendy looks are only dreams,” it jeered
“I am adored for my wisdom,” she impressed
“Hangouts and parties not for you,” it taunted
“I hold many posts and govern things,” she pointed
“I know I am greying gracefully,” she concluded!
