Are we building a Virtual infrastructure so our brain could encapsulate the world?

There are certain theories that scare me and there are certain theories that I see writing on the wall already with certain processes or products that come out in the world. I would say that this one has me in the middle. I love the fact that I believe this has been happening since we were young and that it is our job to take hold of the reins and steer your life in the right direction. It doesn’t matter if you are in a bad place or just want to change up your life completely. It is possible to slow down your subconscious mind and be more here (conscious)

Let me explain the title. A billion years ago the first appearance of the first multicellular organism appeared. Our cells need to communicate with each other. Our neurons need to talk to each other. That is why our brains are wired to communicate because that is a survival technique and it is something that the cavemen had when they were being developed. As we started to develop so did our neural nets. Over decades and decades, new environments and challenges allowed our brains to spur into evolution, including the emergence of groups of neurons for certain tasks. So many people want to know what does this means for the emergence of Artifical Intelligence and what is going to give it arms, legs, eyes, and mouth. I would say that right now AI has arms, legs, and eyes. These abilities that we are giving it is only small. We would say that it has a Narrow AI(artificial intelligence). The ability to do certain tasks but not all. Narrow AI means that the coder can give the data the ability to go straight down or up on a task but not left or right. I can tell a robot to give a generic answer back to a customer but the ability to think in real time hasn’t been seen yet.

*Above is the way we used to look and our brains had to develop over time. It had to become a sensational( I mean that literally) voyage of senses. It wasn’t until FIRE came that really set us apart from every other animal in the kingdom.*

Today there have been so many advances in our society and as I learn more about neuroscience and AI. I am starting to understand that we are taking our brain outside of our skull and aligning it with the world. YES, This concept has been going on for a while. We are trying to better understand the world by creating shrinking it into our palms.

Imagine being able to plug your brain to cars, apps (Outside the phone), health, love, & more.

That is what it seems as if we are doing. We want it to be so general. Like General AI which is the holy grail AI network. That we are plugged into being able to completely get rid of the mundane thought. Studying neuroscience I completely agree with this task.

My life in 20 years is being able to enjoy my family and build groups of communities that understand this technology. Our brains have evolved so much I wonder what is next when it comes to the different networks we would be able to connect to.

As we gain more access to “Things” AI will help us be better people and make tasks either simpler or more efficient to live in the world.

What is next when it comes to the evolving brain?

Is our brain going to stop evolving because of Narrow AI/General AI?

The question that I posed in the title was something I wanted everyone to think about, but I have my answer and that is YES. I believe that we are building a certain AI agent to be exactly like us or something extremely close to it. The way that we are advancing our lives is a sheer miracle that we are able to comprehend and help each other. It is amazing!!

I will pose this to you as well. If you believe different. Your cell phones hold everything about you, and I say most of the people in the world. By the end of this year there will be over 800 million Iphones in the world. I would say most Americans have iPhones. If they don’t have an iPhone then they have an android phone. Every time you wake up and develop something else on your cell phone it could learn and new data can teach it better everyday.

Imagine getting a new phone and then moving all of your data from one phone to another. That is another way that people can keep up with their original lives. We have more data points in our cell phones now then in a single computer decades ago!

That is astounding!!!!

Our brains are learning every minute that it is on and off!

Let that sink in and if we are going to build a general AI that is sufficient to all our AI would have to work on both sides of that coin. It will have to work when we are consciousness or not. That is where a lot of theory comes into play. Can we build something that can work for us WHILE we sleep. Is it so efficient that it doesn’t need thought to process and order process.

This theory might scare you a bit and if you want to understand it a little better you would be able to understand that if we can develop a tool that can hold all of the data in the world you better be able to understand that we can control that data. A step farther would be able to move that data and allow it to talk to each other. That is consciousness that is the holy grail and what we call General AI!!!

Building a virtual/physical environment that encapsulates our brain is something that has been going on for awhile. This has happened since the beginning of time. We have more people on earth today then we had yesterday and it will continue to be that way. Imagine being able to plug into the world and get all of the neuro-data that you need in that day in order to make your day what you need it to be.

Imagine being able to wake up and spend a long period of time to what really matters & that is being creative, loving husband, or time devoted to family. We have never got a chance to do this ever because we have been working for centuries!

My short answer to this question is no….. I say that because there is so much work to do.

My long answer is that…Yes it will happen!
