Come as you are.

When I sent the chord progression to Hennie , it was really messy.. didn't expect him to transform such a messy chord progression to something that keeps my head bugging.

Well, for some of us that's how we classify our lives "messy"..

Something striking happened when I sent the chords to him, he told me " it's lit bro, we'll see what we can do with it" unlike me, who had already written it off as trash.

Permit me to use Bro. Hennie as "God", yes, I'm sorry if that makes your reading awkward but I've got to.

Hennie (music producer) = God.
The chord progression= Your life.

My experience yesterday with the whole music process taught me to be honest and real with my doubts and fears as human without self judgement even though it's hard.

I was honest with bro. Hennie when I sent the chord progression to him telling him it’s not really good but He saw the beauty in what I had written off in mind.

Yesterday the same chord progression I had written off for the past two months was transformed into a masterpiece.

"Come as you are" is a popular Bible quote we all know and make use of, I don't know if this is out of context for this writing.

Again, permit me to continue, if I run into error you can correct me.

Today I'm not saying you should "come as you are", I want you to be honest and real with yourself and your experience.

Speak the truth regardless of how others might percept it.

Don't be afraid of judgement, atleast if you are honest with yourself and you're judged not condemned you can either adjust, work on it or choose to stay the same.

There are people who can help you.
There are people who know better.
There people like Hennie whom their vision transcends yours.

But you can only get genuine and honest judgements, solutions and criticism only when you are honest and truthful with yourself and your limitations.

We are all here to complete ourselves.
To perfect ourselves.
