The Daily Dose of Dirt

Do you dream in color? I do! In fact, my dream-time is so vivid, I have trouble deciphering if it was truly a dream or reality. I record my dreams in a dream journal. Most mornings, I can recall and describe every detail including touch, taste and smell. Some mornings, I can only remember enough to draw a stick-figure and scribble a few key words. And there are mornings, when I know for certain I dreamed, but remember nothing at all except for lingering feelings that may or may not unfold as the day progresses. Dreams are important, potent and not to be taken lightly. They do come true!

I encourage you to dream! Close your eyes and dream-a-little-dream. Dream-up a world in color and wonderment. And today’s sign-posts are very clear, “Saturday is a fine opportunity to day dream!” Entertain yourself with fantastical whims, just don’t pursue or commit to anything concrete until the new moon occurs. You have time to let your mind wander.

💫Sign-Post: Besides, Retrograde Mercury returns to a square with dreamy Neptune, which first occurred while Mercury was direct on May 22nd. Mercury will try and scramble our interpretation of dreams. There’s possible tendencies to be so caught-up in the clouds of day-dreaming, we misinterpret facts, overlook instruction, and ignore guidelines. No worries, it’s Saturday! Keep walking in the clouds. Think outside the normal and dream all the wondrous possibilities without the need for clarification or definite answers, right now. Feel free to share your ideas and fantasies… tell someone, start a dream journal, or sing it for me!

💫Sign-Post: There’s more than a billion stars in the milky way to make a wish and dream away! That’s the silver-lining in the dirt, for today may still prove to be a wildfire hazard with a Mars-Pluto opposition. And of course, the spicy Aries Moon is forcing its way between them intensifying this aspect. It will be all too easy to make the not-so-best decisions and fall hard from a walk in the clouds. So before you stumble, sit back, savor the silver-lining, share the dirt and dream on.

The universe is complex, forever changing, and stops evolving for no one. I thought it very appropriate for it to choose the “Wheel of Fortune” tarot card for today’s dose of “dreamy” dirt.

💫X the “Wheel of Fortune” is a major card. Look at this tangled mess of complexity. Tell me, does this card visually remind you of a dream catcher? I totally see it. It’s a woven rainbow of threads spinning, connecting, and touching everything to everything. Intricate, unfathomable systems and patterns are at work in this card. There’s no need to try and untangle this spinning wheel, this wheel of fate, this wheel of dreams. It’s not possible. Instead, focus your attention on the owl perched at the top left corner. You may already know, but owls resonate with wisdom. And as you can see, this owl does not appear to be phased by the appearance of the seemingly chaotic wheel in motion. The owl simply observes, day dreams, and adapts, taking action only when it’s time. Embody the owl to accept that there is a higher order at work in the universe. Be wise enough to know when to play your cards. As Kenny Rogers sings, “You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to run.” The big picture, destiny, fate, and the turning-point are not easily seen or known. What will be will be. The only constant in life is change. The “Wheel of Fortune” reminds us that there is hope. It’s only a day dream away. — the Blonde Wise Woman
