Why is going fast necessary

There is a pace that is about right. One we can hold for a long time. Sometimes we speed up. Other times we slow down.
Endurance is never flat out. Endurance is patience.
The reflex to go fast — pressure, pressure, pressure — must be examined.
Why is going fast necessary?
Let us sink below the capture of conditioning, and speak the truth of our haste.
Is it because we fear lack — lack of money, relevance, or success?
Is it because it is the only pace we know?
Is fast based on external pressure. Someone, or something driving us, with real or illusory objectives.
If you are caught in the addiction to going fast, consider from where the drive and urgency come.
Tune into the field, into your biology, into the needs of what you are doing. Choose a pace for today.
Repeat tomorrow.
One step at a time, repeated, gets us to the finish line.
