Let Men Be Both Kinds of Big

When people hear of body positivity, they usually think of the ladies. The ladies want all of the attention, the love, and the recognition, but that’s not what feminism is about. Feminism is about making sure that everyone is equally supported and equally included. With this being said, as a whole everyone needs to work on making sure men get to stunt, flaunt, and serve. It’s not like bigger men don’t face the same ridicule as women do. Bigger men aren’t featured as much in magazines, you don’t see as many plus sized male models, and men are also looked at in a negative way for being larger. Men are expected to be masculine, take care of their bodies, and be big ole tough guys, but why are women allowed to be bigger and prideful about it? Men deserve to be okay with any body type they have.

I most agree with the fact that men shouldn’t have face backlash from society while women are currently being praised for embracing their bodies. Although it can he extremely tough to lose weight for some and it is always good to try. Then again, if you don’t feel like you need to lose weight (unrelated to health), then you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do. According to feminism, both men and women should be treated equally, meaning that if women are allowed to serve looks while being bigger, then men should be able to do the exact same without any ridicule.
